Autumn is my absolute FAVOURITE time of the year! 🎃🍂 Think bonfires, falling leaves, pumpkin spice lattes and cosy jumpers - what’s not to love?! It’s also the time where I love to change up the decor and scents in our home for something more seasonal. There’s something about a crisp autumn evening, snuggled in front of the TV with your wax melts burning, and filling your home with beautiful autumnal scents. Autumn for me encapsulates all of the best times - my birthday, Halloween, bonfire night, Christmas. What a time to be alive. Every year I like to get online and pick out some amazing autumnal scents to make my home a cosy haven. Let’s talk scent styling your home through the months of autumn!
Benito Babes love September: I like to choose scents such as Autumn Leaves, Black Cedarwood & Juniper, Fall Farmhouse and Fresh Rain. These woody, fresh scents all evoke September days to me, where the seasons click from summer to autumn and the cooler evenings come in. The Benito burner from the Opulence range is perfect for September - it’s white, so it’s crisp and clean, and the tea light slider makes it so luxe.
Cauldron Cooking in October: In October, it’s all about that spooky Halloween vibe for me. Scents such as Cigar Lounge, Spiced Pumpkin, Trick or Treat and Cinnamon Apple give that richer, more seasonal fragrance that I associate with this month. I’m absolutely loving my Hanging Cauldron burner from the Autumn Collection for October, it’s so cute and absolutely bang on trend!
Talin Nude for November: It’s all about the dark foggy nights, the smell of firewood and warm blankets in November! So for me the scents have to be things like Myrrh & Tonka, Toffee Nut Roulade, Pecan Pie & Warm Woollen Blanket. These scents are a perfect transition into the more Christmassy scents to come in December. My Talin Nude burner from the Opulence collection will be seeing plenty of action this month!
Cosy Pottery Village for December: The run up to Christmas has to be one of the most exciting times ever! Fragrance is such a memory trigger for me, and I love to choose scents in December that are reminiscent of everything Christmas! My faves are Warm Gingerbread, Pine Forest, Cranberry & Orange and Baileys! I mean, what says Christmas more than those scents?! The Village Pottery collection is perfect at Christmas, whether you pick something more neutral like my Beige Round House, or one of the seasonal Christmas pieces like the Gonks or the Christmas Red Wreath Round House!
